Welcome to my photography website. I am an amateur photographer with a particular interest in wildife, especially birds. Most of my photos are taken locally, on the Isle of Wight, where I currently live but I like to travel both in the UK and overseas and I have some trips in the UK planned for 2011.
My favourite subjects are birds, not only because I am interested in birds and am also a birder, but because they are all around us, very obvious and the most noticeable type of wildlife unlike shy mammals.
However, I recently bought a 100mm Canon macro lens and I'm planning to get out in the spring, summer and autumn taking pictures of insects, plants and fungi.
